Fail-Proof Cake Pop Recipe
This cake pop recipe has served us well over the years, and has successfully produced over half a million cake pops! It can be used with any cake mix flavor as a base, and then the add-in popsibilities are endless!
Ingredients:
- 1 box cake mix
- 7/8 cup water
- 1/8 cup oil
- 3 eggs
Instructions:
- Bake and cool completely.
- Put into mixer (or food processor) until finely crumbed.
- Add frosting 1 tbsp. at a time and mix until it comes together in a ball (or like play dough consistency)
Poptional add-ins:
- 1.5 tsp extract into batter
- 1/4 cup “soft” additions into batter (peanut butter, honey, etc.)
- 1/2 - 1 cup crushed “hard” additions into dough before adding frosting (fruity pebbles, mini choc chips, etc.)
