Shipping Notice: Chocolate is sensitive to heat, and melt-risk increases in warmer climates. We offer Standard Shipping and an optional Cold-Pack Shipping Add-On for extra protection during transit. If your average local temperature is above 75°F, we strongly recommend adding the cold-pack option to your order. If you choose Standard Shipping, you acknowledge the risk of melting. Orders shipped without the Cold-Pack Shipping Add-On are not eligible for replacements, refunds, or store credit if melting occurs.

- During the warmer months, We recommend adding our Cold-Pack Shipping Add-On. This helps ensure your chocolate arrives in the best possible condition despite higher temperatures.
Melted Chocolate
- During the warmer months, the risk of melting during transit increases significantly.
- The good news is that the melting wafers are designed to be melted, hardened, and remelted multiple times. So while they may arrive soft, stuck together, or misshapen, they are still completely safe to use and will perform just as intended once remelted.

- Store in a cool, dry environment that is free of odors. It is recommended that all customers use a storage facility with a temperature of 55-65F and less than 50% humidity for both ingredients and finished products.
- Any moisture, including free or atmospheric, will have a significant impact on the flow property of the coating and must be avoided.
- If a thinner coating is desired, paramount crystals may be added. If adding flavors or colors, use a concentrated flavor or oil-based flavor.
- Chocolate may melt in shipping if ordering during warmer temperatures. If it melts during shipping, it can be remelted.
- Confectionery coatings should be melted with indirect heat, continuous agitation, and under controlled conditions.
- It is critical to not overheat confectionery coatings since burning of the sugar may occur creating off flavors and thickening the product.
